Maybe you are weighing a barrel kit against a custom build and a sizing question keeps nagging at you. Or you found an error in one of our guides and want us to fix it. Either way, we want to hear from you.
Heat & Cedar is an independent publisher. We do not sell saunas, build them or take commissions from any brand, so your question goes to someone whose only job is to give you a straight answer.
What to include
The more detail you give us, the better our answer
If your question is about sizing or heating, tell us the room dimensions in feet and inches, the wall and ceiling materials, and whether the sauna is indoors or outdoors. That lets us talk in cubic feet and kilowatts instead of guesses.
If your question is about wiring, tell us the heater model and your panel situation. We will explain what a licensed electrician will typically do under the NEC and your local code, and where a permit usually comes in. We do not give step-by-step DIY wiring instructions, and we think that is the right call.
If you are reporting a correction, link the article and quote the passage. We check manufacturer manuals and independent sources when we verify, and we update the page when something is wrong.
Before you write
How quickly will I hear back?
We read every message ourselves and answer as soon as we can, but we are a small editorial team, not a support desk. A detailed question with room dimensions or a model number is faster to answer than a general one.
Can you recommend a specific sauna brand for my situation?
We can explain which type, size and heater class fits your space and budget, but we do not sell or endorse individual brands. We have no affiliation with Harvia, Huum, Almost Heaven, Sunlighten, Finnleo, Clearlight or any other manufacturer, and we will not pretend one kit is right for everyone.
Can you look at my electrical or structural plans?
We can explain in general terms what a licensed electrician or contractor will do, which codes apply and which questions to ask them. Final decisions on wiring, load calculations and structural work belong to the licensed professionals and inspectors in your jurisdiction.
